Q: Pregnant b4 health benefits kick in

Married this month found out wife pg this month, started new job this month, Health benefits do not kick in until sept 1st. Pregnancy not confirmed by MD. Afraid she will not be covered. She had no previous ins. before we got married for the last year!!!

If your plan is fully insured then state laws will apply. In some states, you can be added to the plan the day before you deliver the baby and the entire pregnancy will be covered.

There is a medical benefits company that accepts pregnancy and any pre existing conditions. I know because I am pregnant and I am on it. If you want the information just let me know.
