hello. i am in desperate need of help. im sixteen years old and just recently have been making some of the worst decisions of my life. i had been "messing around" with this guy for a few months. everytime we would have sex i thought he had a condom on but i guess somehow he would slip it off without me noticing because when we were done it would be off. but as far as my knowledge goes he always pulled out before he actually finished. BUT i did get pregnant somewhere along the line.. i decided an abortion would be the best decision for me. well now about two weeks ago i had sex and i know he had a condom on the whole time. but then i had sex again three days later, and he didn't... but it could hardly be considered sex, he couldn't stay hard and only put it in about 3 times. i dont feel like that could've gotten me pregnant because its hard to believe any precum even came out. and i know 100% he did not finish inside of me. but to be sure about 5 days after i bought Plan B, at planned parenthood they told me you could take it up to 7 days, but on the box it says 3. i took it anyways. just to be sure. but lately i have been feeling bloated, constipated, and at times pains in my lower abnomen. also recently my tailbone started hurting, i dont believe that could be a symptom this early at all but im just not sure anymore. please dont tell me how i need to change my ways because i am already very aware of this and i am starting birthcontrol as soon as my next period comes with is due somehwere near the 20th. i just hope it comessss. please help me!!!

You wouldn't be experiencing any symptoms at all at this point because your period isn't even due for about 2 more weeks. Do NOT have anymore unprotected sex until you are on birth control.
I doubt you are pregnant. Usually women ovulate about 14 days prior to their period, so I would guess that you have/are ovulating anywhere between this past Monday and this coming Sunday.
I'm pretty sure Plan B would have nipped this in the bud if you were. Generally the people working at planned parenthood know what they are doing.

Well, plan b has some nasty side effects so I wouldn't worry too much about symptoms right now.

Because you took plan b, your period may be a little crazy for around three months, so don't panic if your period doesn't come when it's supposed to. Your period may also be really light or heavy and could be long or short. Also keep in mind that irregular bleeding is a side effect so if you get your period and then bleed on and off for awhile, that's normal too.

Have some pregnancy tests ready, and test if your period doesn't come on the day it's due.

it's not possible to get pregnant if you haven't ovulated, right?

I don't think I'd continue having sex with someone who was slipping a condom off.

Have you considered taking the pill also?

Maddie and Marianne are giving you some really great advice. They are very knowledgeable.

I mean if you just stopped bleeding and you have sex. Like, can you get pregnant from that?

After an abortion pill? Yes.

Blondiii, have you looked into birth control pills?--- I think that's what Ingi was asking, but I could be wrong about that. But with birth control pills you won't have to worry about condoms slipping off-- although I would suggest you stick with them to protect against anything else. I don't know if I would trust a guy who purposely takes the condom off without my knowledge or approval.

It's very nerve-racking to experience an unwanted pregnancy. Emotions are wild. I lived through your same situation to a "T". I was pregnant and had an abortion. The doctor constatly assured my that it is very likely to become pregnant again if I don't take precautions very seriously. An abortion (obviously) is not nature's intended way, so your body has to catch up with what has happened - your body will think there is still a womb to protect; until it has caught up. So if you have unprotected intercourse soon enough after-the-fact, your body is prepared to grab and hold on so you must be ridiculously careful. I was not pregnant again when I thought I was - but you'd be baffled to understand how incredibly strong paranoia is, you can create symptoms for something you're paranoid about even if it isn't actually there.

Maybe this is just me but if I had a girlfriend who was NOT on birth control and she told me to not use a condom, I would run the other direction as fast as possible.

So why do you continue to have sex with him and put yourself at further risk of pregnancy and abortion?

On second thought, why are you dating someone who doesn't respect your wishes enough to keep a piece of latex on his penis? He put a pregnancy into your body against your will, causing you to choose to have an abortion, and yet that wasn't enough for him to keep it wrapped?

There are better guys out there - guys who will respect you and won't put their own sexual needs above your health.

If YOU read what I wrote to you, it would have sunk in.

If you do NOT want to have a baby, dump him.

i understand. we aren't officially dating anyways. and i left for the rest of the summer to my dads. so i wont be seeing him anymore. so that takes care of him. but i have another question.. last time i was pregnant i could just tell. like i just felt pregnant if that makes sense. and this time i kind of feel the same but it could just be my paranoia. i wouldnt be experiencing any kinds of symptoms yet? since i havent even missed my period? is that right?

That's the wonderful thing about the human body and its senses.

Ask anybody who's drove the same car for awhile and they will tell you that they know when somethings wrong. Even the tiniest strange noise will tell you something is wrong. Usually if your body tells you something, it's usually true.

BUT it seems that you are looking for symptoms which can be deceiving. If you are getting your period and it's not spotting, you are NOT pregnant.

Don't let anybody tell you that you can still have your period while pregnant. That is spotting, not a period.
