I had unprotected sex with my fiance and he came in me. I took the morning after pill within 24hours. A month before that the condom had burst and i took the morning after pill within 48 hours. I had gotten my period then normal, but when my period came this time, it was very light and lasted for 3 days...my period normally goes for 5 - 7 days with a medium flow. a few days later my boobs feel sensitive and I have aversions to some foods and smells. I am also urinating a bit more often..

CAN I BE PREGNANT?

Hi radhadhar, sorry to say this but yes you could be pregnant. Several years ago I took the morning after pill after unprotected sex and I fell pregnant. It didn't work for some reason. I only found out when I was 10 weeks as I naively thought I was going to get my periods any day as I kept getting period cramps and had a light bleed.

This is only my experience so I'm not saying that you ARE pregnant, I'm simply saying that it is possible based on personal experience.....

Good luck and either way. Take care x

Hi want3,

Thank you for your reply!!!
Wink

I feel a bit off in terms of nausea in the morning and aversion to food. My boobs (nipples) feel tender, almost tingling.

I guess i will have to wait a little longer to actually find out. In the meantime I'll act as if i am...stay away from alcohol and those other harmful factors.

Oh boy...it is the "not knowing" that really gets to me..lol.

Take care.

P.S. Please keep in contact. I'm interested in hearing more of your experience.

If your symptoms are due to pregnancy then you would get a positive on a pregnancy test, otherwise you can wait for a missed period to test.

Your period you got after last time you took the morning after pill sounds pretty normal-- it can affect your period to be lighter or heavier.
