Hello and welcome to eHealth Forum!
Well if you did not take the depot shot on time and had unprotected sex, you could be pregnant. It also depends on when was your expected date of period. Generally Depot injections are given during the first five days of the menstrual cycle and then repeated every 3 months. Hence your cycle should be expected around 10th of October. So you need to check when the periods were expected in Oct (if you did not have them).
In that case the brownish discharge could be implantation bleeding. It could also be effect of withdrawal of the injection. However it is still too early for symptoms of pregnancy to start. All pregnancy test will be negative before the next due date in Nov. If you have crossed the due date then take a pregnancy test.
The symptoms could also be due to the fact that effect of Depot hormone is wearing off. It could also be due to pregnancy. To confirm you can either take a blood test or an ultrasound. Please consult your doctor or gynecologist as a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net. Hope this helps. Take care!
