Q: Pregnant after miscarriage??

Hi All,
I am new to this, but was reading other posts and had to ask my question.... I had a miscarriage on Aug 18th, I spent a night in the hospital. They monitored my levels and they were almost gone by the next day. It's been 4wks since my mc. I am having symptoms of being pregnant, cramping, backaches, headaches, bloated and getting up to pee once if not twice at night, not to mention every hour during the day. I am curious if anyone has got pregnant right after a mc and how long it took you to get a positive test result or at what week post mc did you test to get a positive result? Thank you so much for your input!!

Hi, i personally have not gone through this but i had a friend that did. her and her husband were trying to get pregnant before he got deployed to irag. she found out she was pregnant and then had a mc a week later. her husband was deploying the following month so they did not follow advice and wait three months to try. she was pregnant the very next month! her baby is now 9 months old, happy and healthy! hope this helps you!

From my experience (from women i give ultrasounds to at work) i would listen to the doctor and advise you to wait 3 cycles after a miscarriage. One lady i scanned got pregnant again after her miscarriage before even having her next regular period. She ended up miscarrying that pregnancy as well.
Doctors tell you to wait for a reason, so your uterine lining can become healthy again and your hormones regular.
Good luck with everything.
