I have actaully ask this question in this forum already but i forgot to mention about some things.
Previously, i said that i am 5 months pregnant now. At 2 months I tried to abort the baby using cytotec. I took 2 pills and inserted 1 in my vagina. That night, I bled but the next morning the bleeding stopped and did not continue. I then decided to continue having the baby. At 4 months I had 2D ultrasound and the doctor didnt mention about any problem. She just said that the placenta is good and even pointed at the monitor about baby's head and femur.
But, until now, I'm worried about my baby. I couldnt sleep well knowing that i did something that might harm the baby's health. Should I expect physical or mental abnormalities to my baby, knowing that I actually bled after taking the said pill? Should I rely on that 2D ultrasound result? What if I'll try 4D, I heared its much clearer and the baby now is bigger than the previous ultrasound.
The good ultrasound results are just what is expected and what you need. If the doctor was experienced, then he would have noticed any bigger malformation.
You might want to have 4D ultrasound, but it is not obligatory.
However, no matter what test is done you will not be 100% sure until the baby is born. Still, the good ultrasound results significantly decrease the chances for any malformation to be present. Therefore, you should not worry so much.
