My period has always been clockwork, After my tubes were tied I had one late period of ten days. Three months ago I was throwing up and have been nasuated ever since. My breasts are tender and that never hapened unless it was during a pregnacy. I swear I feel movement in my lower abdomen. Let me say I do want another baby so I thought this could be pyscological. I feel asking my docter would soud crazy I mean my tubes are tied. I am 18 days late with no signs of it coming. Two months ago I took a home test which was neg. So now what?

Hi shellybutterflies,

You can get pregnant despite having your tubes tied. Unless you had them tied and burned at the end (which is done for extra protection against pregnancy). You can be experiencing what is referred to as a false pregnancy, the symptoms of tender breast, vomiting, even bloating of the adomen. You can also have a false reading of a pregnancy test. Never feel "crazy" about discussing anything with your doctor, just as you should never feel "dumb" about asking a question, the only dumb question is that which isn't asked. Treat your body as though you are pregnant until you find out for sure. In a couple of weeks take another pregnancy test or go to your OB/GYN to have piece of mine.

Congratulations if you and you want to be.

God Bless,

Faded Rose
