I am a rare case of pregnancy without uterus. I have made it 20 weeks so far and still doing ok. I had my uterus removed over 10 years ago but they left my tubes and ovaries. The drs said i had a 1 in 10,000 chance of ever conceiving because I had very good working ovaries and are very fertile.

Where is this child located if it is not within a uterus? How is it protected or the rest of your body protected from the fetus?

Additionally, 1 in 10,000 odds are pretty good, considering your tubes would be tied off and burned and your cervix more than likely isn't just open to your abdomen.

This is truly a miracle. I hope you have contacted the media. I'm sure TLC or the Discovery channel would like to do a show about it.

Good luck!

It has attached itself to a good healthy organ. It is very dangerous for both of us that's why my dr is putting me on complete bedrest as of aug 1st.
My tubes were never burnt nor tied. I requested them not to be.
I have not contacted the media yet. I am waiting until later to make sure there are no complications and the baby survives. I don't want to jinx this baby.

Girl, if you are 20 weeks, might as well get that media involved. You could be making some money off this!

By the way, the other person who had written in this thread about being pregnant without a uterus - yeah... she wasn't. In fact, you might be one of the first credible ones who have done this. I'm sure the Discover Channel would be happy to pay your extraordinary medical bills and help you.

Have you seen Jon & Kate on TLC? They are making some money off that stuff. Plus they get to go on Oprah and all that. You should sign up for some of that!

This has happened B4
I have read other cases of this and although dangerous they all survived. I do not have a uterus but I do have my tubes and ovaries for over two years now and was told by my doc I could not get pregnant. I didn't even worry about it cause my fiance had been fixed. We have recently Broke up and I have been dating another Man very seriously for 3 months. He has not been Fixed. Well, I have been feeling odd with a bloated tummy and felt like I had morning sickness. I just took a test that says I'm pregnant! My sister had the same surgery and her Doc told her she Could get pregnant. So... Off to the doctor I go... To see where in the world it is attached. Don't doubt the body, LIFE will find a way!

Or you could be grateful of this miracle and not take advantage of having the baby by becoming famous. People always in your life and more importantly, your kids.

Wow... the things people will do...

possible pregnancy @ 49
I too have been having "signs" of a pregnancy, I have actually have and do feel movement, nausea, and also my breasts stay sore. It is freaking me out, because I will be 49 next month, and I'm to be adopting a baby due in late May, early June. She is a 13 yr. old child who was raped by a man twice her age(he is doing 15-20); her mother just found out about six weeks ago she too is pregnant. I saw where someone did do a pregnancy test, I guess I'll do that this weekend(for fun). If it's "real", I guess I'll be blessed with two babies, and yes, I have a hubby to help and family also.
