Hi, I've been having a bit of trouble conceiving. Last year August I gave birth to my baby boy who died. Eversince I've been having trouble with my period. When I went to my gyn/ob in Jan, he tested my hormones and found that there was hardly any. I've slowly but surely started getting a period over the last couple of months, but it's not at all what I'm used to. This past month my gyn/ob prescribed Primolut N but my last period again was only 1,5 days and VERY light. I've googled 'scanty menstrual period' and the only causes of this could be 1. hormonal imbalance (had bloodworks again, and everything seems normal) or 2. uterine scarring (I've had 2 c-sections). Everytime I go the the dr he does a vaginal sonar, but I've read that you can't see scarring on a sonar. Now my question is this - does anyone have any more information, I can't find any. I will ask my gyn/ob, I'm planning on phoning him tomorrow, but when I went to him the last time he noticed a lump on my thyroid, and I'm busy seeing to that (costing a lot) so I don't have money to go back to him at this stage.
And the most important part - will I be able to conceive with it or do I have to have a hysteroscopy?
Thank you for anyone who can give me a bit more information. (By the way, they tested my thyroid function, which was fine, so that's not the problem)
