blocked tubes
You can also ask your doctor about recanalization (opening of your tubes). I don't know what state you live in, but in NY I have found 2 names of doctors who do it. Apparently not all doctors do it, and I suspect some IVF doctors won't recommend it, because they would rather have you pay them thousands of dollars to bypass the tubes. Don't give up, research and ask questions as much as you can before jumping into an expensive procedure.

Yes thank you , I actually found a dr in Rochester that does it, if it is what your talking about it is called laserscopic neosalpingotomy. Can you give me the info on the docs that do this? Thank you for your reply as well

Blocked tubes/ infertility
Oh,Ok. I'm not familiar with that term/procedure, but the 2 docs that I've heard of who open tubes (recanalization), are: 1. Dr. Forcade of Mt Kisco, NY Ph # (914) 681-1069. I've only seen his name on the web. Can't say that I know anything else about him. 2. Dr. James Brady (Radilologist)in NYC, NY Ph# (212) 838-4243. I will likely meet with this doc myself, because he comes highly recommended by another doc. Also if you or anyone you know has "unexplained fertility", you might want to read a book called "making babies"- a proven 3 month program for maximum fertility- by Sami S. David MD, and j. Blakeway, LAc. This book has alot of helpful info. You might want to check out samidavid.com. If you choose to go see him, tell him Melanie sent you. He's very nice and looks carefully at your health history.est of luck, Hope this helps.
