The uterine scarring is common with D&C procedures, and leads to problems in conception.
Going ahead with a hysteroscopy would be better to visualize the extent of the scar tissue at present.
IVF and or IUI can be tried after seeing the hysteroscopy results.
The scar tissue if very deep into the wall of the uterus can also cause problems with co-ordination of the uterine contractions during labor and delivery, requiring C-section for both yours and baby's safety.
Discuss the options and work-up with an INFERTILITY SPECIALIST, and go ahead with the work-up first to determine the extent of damage present. Depending upon your results, the best possible way for conception and related complication (about what to expect and be ready for in future) would be explained to you.
