I am 25 years old and I have lupus for about 10 years now. I use the following medications:
Aldomet 250 mg po bid
Tenormin 50 mg po od
Prednisolone 5 mg po od
Imuran 50 mg po od
One-alpha 0.25 mcg po od
Fefol po od
Calcium po od.
Do these medications affect the fetus? Is there any side effects or should I reduce any drug of the above mentioned treatment?
Please note that I am in my first month of pregnancy..

Hi mercy,

Congrats on being a mom, it's the best job in the world. Smile)

First don't make any changes to your medication prior to talking to your doctor. These are questions you need to ask your doctor. Make a list of every concern you have, make an appointment and have a heart to heart talk with him or her. If you click on our lupus topics you can find support from othe lupus suffers who perhaps are expericing some of the concerns you raise. If you would like to be contacted or contact them please do so.

God Bless,

Faded Rose
