Q: Pregnancy vs. period

I for about 2-3 weeks now I have been experiencing early pregnancy symptoms including very sore and tender breasts, nausea, tiredness, sensitivity to smells, headaches, and back aches. The first day of my last period was April 12th. I have done the calculations and I should be about 5-7 weeks pregnant. I have taken 3 test and are all negative. On Sunday May 31, I played in a work softball game, nothing intense just fun. I didn't do anything very rough or out of the ordinary for me. The following day I started to bleed ever so slightly. I have never had bleeding this light ever in my life which leads me to believe it is not a period. However it is now Wednesday and the bleeding has not stopped but has not gotten heavier. I can usually get away with 2 panty liners a day and that's all. It is definitely not ALL blood as it is mixed with some of my usual fluid. My husband and I are really excited but don't want to be excited if there is no reason to be. I do not want to make an appointment with my doctor if this is just all in my head. Some but not all of the symptoms have subsided (my breasts are not AS sore, but still a little, nausea has almost disappeared except every so often) but I do not have cramps like I ALWAYS do for my period. Any advise would be helpful thank you!

If you are having negative tests and still think you are pregnant, the prudent thing to do would be to see your doctor.

Thank you, does anyone else have any other suggestions or similar stories?? I took my 4th test this morning and its still negative. I have a 2 1/2 year old and my home pregnancy test was positive with him, so I'm not crazy I have passed a test before!

princess, no one is saying you are crazy. A lot of things can put off a period. Stress, working out, change in diet sometimes. Four negative pregnancy test and you still have some symtoms? See your OB/GYN. A blood test can be done to make sure. I hope everything works out for you.
