Hi....I am in vacation in Cambodia and there is a lack of doctors that I trust because before they always want to just sell me things. I don't return home for another 3 weeks. So I'm hoping for advice here

I last had my menstruation August 4th ...Now is Sept 14th already so it is 9 days late.
I took a pregnancy test after 4 days late and then again at the 9th day late. Both different brand names.
Both produced a negative result.

I have been vomiting almost everyday for the last week.

I don't remember the birth control name I have been taking but it was once every 2 weeks.
The last time I took it....I took the pill for the first 2 weeks but then 2 half of the month I did not take.

Could this be a reason why I am not getting my period? Are there any other reasons?
Any advice on what I should do?

Are there any other reasons? I'm concerned for my health. And feel a bit helpless that the doctors out here don't speak my language well and it's hard to know who I can trust.

Have you been under any stress recently? Worried about anything? Sudden weight loss or gain as well as hormonal imblances can cause periods to be delayed.

Not taking the birth control properly can increase your chances of falling pregnant but if you've not had sexual intercourse then I'd say you were pregnant.

Not taking the birth control wouldn't cause you to vomit like you have been. Try eating or drinking something with Ginger in as it helps to settle the stomach.

It's advisable to use the same brand pregnancy test, you can buy kits with two sticks in so that you can take a test and re test a week later or something.

If you still don't get your period when you return home, I would suggest making a visit to your OB/GYN for a full evaluation. HTH

Yes I have been under some stress lately because of my family back home. I am quite worried about them. But it has not been affecting any other parts of my life such as depression or daily activities which is normal.

I've had some weight loss because of my change in diet to SE Asian cuisine. Nothing one would expect is out of the ordinary though. Maybe lost 5 pounds over 2 months.

Can u please reiterate your 2nd sentence. I'm a bit confused by what you said. =)
I've has sex a few times since stopping birth control half way through it's course.

I've read that these tests are 97% accurate, and I've taken 2. So with those numbers to me it would tell me I'm not pregnant, or highly unlikely. But maybe those numbers are incorrect?
