okay so i normally have my period around the 20-25th of every month. i had it in march, as planned. not this weekend, but the weekend before, i had sex with my boyfriend and the condom burst. so naturally, i had to get plan b. i took both pills as directed, 12 hours apart. i took the first one about an hour after the incident. the next day, we had sex again and the condom burst AGAIN. i think it's just because we switched brands, and he's a little on the bigger side. i talked to a pharmacist and she said it was dangerous to take 2 doses of plan b so close together like that, so i did nothing about it.

it is now ten days later after i took the plan b, and i still have not got my period. my period, if it comes as planned, is due in another week. i felt perfectly fine after taking the plan b, and have not felt any signs of sickness, or anything like that. is that normal? when can i expect my period, before, or after, the expected date?

i had gone to a health clinic to be put on birth control and today was my first day to start on lutera. that was a few days ago. they gave me a urine test, which was to test for pregnancy, they said. is one week after unprotected sex too early to test for pregnancy? because the doctor said they would call me if the test results had came out positive.

please help, i need advice! thank you, i hate worrying like this! Embarassed

It is not 'dangerous' to take PLAN B very close together, although I would not advise making it a habit. You should have taken another dose to be on the safe side.

Plan B does not cause side effects in all women, so it is great that you felt normal after using it!

ONE week after sex is too soon, you are right..

Hopefully everything will turn out okay.

Realistically, you are at a higher risk of pregnancy since the condom broke. How high? No one can really answer that.. :/
