Q: Pregnancy test timing

Its been alittle over a week since we had a sex and her period is delayed alittle over a week. Can we take a pregnancy test now and be accurate?

No, pregnancy tests should only be accurate about 14 days after sex. Unless you had sex before this, it probably won't show up on a pregnancy test. You can always try with an early response test, but there's truly no way for her body to be producing pregnancy hormones this early in a pregnancy. Wait just a couple more days and you should be in the clear.

That is correct!

Teens do not parental consent to get birth control pills, and if she is not pregnant you guys should consider birth control Smile

she took pregnancy test today was negitive so im at ease, still no period but she says she always has weird periods so ill see what goes from here
