If the pregnancy test was positive and then became negative it could indicate a missed abortion.

A home pregnancy test can be also negative in cases of extrauterine pregnancy when smaller amounts of hCG are produced. You need a blood pregnancy test and ultrasound scan to clear the situation. Another possibility could be that the first pregnancy test was false positive.

You should consult your gynecologist as soon as possible.
