Q: Pregnancy test accurate after abortion ?

I had the abortion June 20, took the post abortion pegnancy test on july 21 it was negative. July 25 had unprotected sex with the withdrawal method. July 27-30 had a light bleeding that could have been my period..... August 13 took at home pregnancy test just to be sure and it is negative. The reason i am worried is i cant be sure that was my period in July and I really am not positive when my next period should be?

I am not trying to be judgmental but when you mentioned that you used the withdrawal method (which is not a method)after a recent abortion....my eyes almost popped out! I'm assuming that you had an abortion because it was an unplanned pregnancy...so why in the world would you take that chance again? That aside, it is recommended that you wait at least 6 weeks post abortion. Your period may take a while to get back on track. If you are not wanting a child then you need to get some form of protection.
