Hello, I am suppose to be 24wks pregnant. At 20 wks I measured 26-27 wks and the ultrasound said the baby is measuring at 21 wks and is in the 90th percentile. Also, now I am suppose to be 24wks and I am measuring 30wks. Can you help me figure this out please? My doctor keeps going by my LMP and isn't it possible to be pregnant while you are on your cycle?

It is possible to become pregnant while on your cycle. You need to keep in mind that the ulstrasounds go by the size of the baby. If you have a large child they may say you are further along than you actually are. If your baby is smaller than usual, the reverse is true. Ultrasounds done in the first trimester are the most accurate. Other ultrasounds can be off by as much as two weeks.
