Q: pregnancy symptoms

I had unprotected sex while not TTC (because i'm dumb) and now, 8 weeks later, I still have no period, but I have a ton of symptoms, and all of my home pregnancy tests have come back negative.
Part of me is scared to go to the doctor- partially bc I have no money, and no job, but I have PCOS and the woman on the other end of the Ask-A-Nurse hotline said it's possible I am pregnant even without a positive test, and some women don't test positive ever.... and have kids anyhow...
If I am pregnant, I want my kid to have the best treatment possible, but I freakin hate hospitals.... this is a terrible conundrum, and I really don't even know what I'm asking here........

I guess I could just list my symptoms and everything.
My last MP was Aug 3rd,
Around Aug 23 I had light pink spotting and thick, clear, stretchy cervical mucous
That day, I also had light cramping, and assumed I was starting my period, but it never came.
A week later, I was slightly nauseated, but I tested negative, so I went about my life.
I continued being nauseous, with very mild cramping, off and on light brown spotting, white discharge, indigestion, gas, tender breasts, diarrhea, headaches, elevated temperature, bouts of insomnia followed by bouts of 13 or 14 hours of sleep...
I've been weepy, and crabby, and all around pregnant. My whole body feels off center, my back hurts all the time, and my heart beats so fast it nearly puts me into panic attacks, and all through this time, I'm having this light brown spotting, which gets worse after a BM...
So 7 days ago, the cramping became more steady, and the spotting went to more like dark brown, and I passed a clot.
I'm no longer nauseated, but every other symptom is still persisting...
So I guess what I'm asking is am I pregnant, or am I insane?

If you have PCOS, that could very well be why you haven't had a period. Symptoms are not indicative of pregnancy. You'll need to see a doctor.

Good luck.
