Pregnancy symptoms require a test??
Posted: 08-17-08 21:34pm

I know, I know, you've seen like 1,000 of these posts, but I am going to add another one.

I have the world's most irregular cycle. I was on BCP for 5 years, but stopped when some other medical conditions appeared. I had 2 "regular" cycles (I say regular, because they were about 30 days, with a one week long period, just like when I was on the pill.) After that, the periods stopped. I took provera for 5 days after 3 months of no AF. I bled and that was that. 3 months later, AGAIN no AF.

Here is where my story takes a little twist. About one week ago, I had sex with my husband with no protection, no pulling out, nothing. Afterwards I felt very, very dizzy, which is unusual for me. So there is a chance that I am pregnant. O and the morning after, when I wiped, there was some tan colored CM with what looked like blood in it.

I did not think about this and took the provera again (tonight was day 5.) I am now having the world's worst cramps (basically all dayalong with some other symptoms which could be pregnancy or could be AF coming soon! (My other symptoms include: an abnormally insanely ravenous appetite yet I feel full for a long time, extreme fatigue, and starting tonight my belly actually feels hard- like above my belly button. It is very odd. I have also had some slight nausea.)

Ok so....... do you think I should go buy a test, or should I just wiat and see if the provera does its thing (obviously if it does, I was not pregnant to begin with.)

Thanks in advance for your help and advice !!!!
