No data is given about what 16.3 is meant for. You might specify the type of the laboratory test that the result is given for. In pregnancy, Red Blood Count (RBC) and hemoglobin decrease due to the increased blood volume (mother and baby). Changes in the sexual hormones also happen in the pregnancy. These changes are used to determine if pregnancy has occurred or not. However, the exact laboratory test is needed because it can be based on different sexual hormones.
