Hi Ladies,

I am so confused....was diagnosed by my GP today with a bladder infection and tested negative for a urine pregnancy test-she felt all my symptoms were related to the infection and didnt want to send away for blood HCG levels-I have the worst PMS symptoms, backache, exhaustion, diarrhea and missed period by a week. Should I get a second opinion??? thanks nurse

an infection can throw your cycle off and make you late...I would follow the treatment for your bladder infection and once it clears up see what's going on with your body/cycle. If you're still have problems, ask your doctor to test HCG and if she still refuses and you're still having trouble, you MAY want to seek a second opinion. You should be able to trust your doctor, and if you feel that her judgement isn't entirely trustworthy, you may want to seek a second opinion for good and find a new doctor. But I would wait a few days and see.
