Hi Hollie,

The only way to find out why you're not getting pregnant would be to take a trip to the OB-GYN. There could be various reasons. Maybe it's just not the time yet, it could be his sperm count, or you may not be ovulating. Some women get pregnant right away and some just take a little longer. Only your doctor can tell you the real reason. Good luck and I hope you get that baby soon!

Pink24X,

An OB GYN is an obstetrician/Gynocologist. It's a doctor women go to for female issues, having babies, etc.

Hollie,

I'm glad to hear you are not trying to get pregnant at just 18. I'm not going to lecture you, but you really should use some type of birth control before you do get pregnant. I wouldn't worry about why you haven't gotten pregnant, but be glad that it hasn't happened. I would say you've probably just been lucky. When the right time comes to bring a child into your life, it will happen and if it doesn't, you will have to leave that to the doctor to give you the answers.

You're very welcome! You're a smart girl to get yourself protection. Just a little advice from a wise friend, if you're going to have sex make your partner continue to wear condoms. It is extra protection for you and the pill doesn't protect you from diseases like Herpes, HIV/Aids, and other STDs.
