Q: Pregnancy Issues

I recently found out I was pregnant by going to the doctors and taking a blood test. They called me the next day and asked me the last day of my menstrual period. I told them May 11, 2009. They then said that I must be 4 weeks. My question is, is there any way I could have gotten pregnant at the begining of April? My boyfriend and I were having some problems, and we both went our seperate ways for a few days, and we both made some mistakes that we regret. He's happy about this baby, and Im not sure if I could possibly have gotten pregnant around April 2nd 2009. Wouldn't my blood test show pretty accurate results? And if so, this baby would have been concieved in May. Im really confused and need some advice.

Thank you.

Extremely eHealthy (online)
If you had your period on May 11, you got pregnant after that (probably in the last 2 weeks of may sometime). The most obvious sign that you got pregnant is that you periods stop. You got pregnant between your last actual period and the time the next one was supposed to appear (about midway between these two dates but it can be different by few days).

Maybe you should tell us what is confusing you and you will get better help?

ErinLeigh616, one thing for sure is that the female body is strange, my mother had her period three months before she found out she was pregnant and i was only a week early. so it is possible that you had a period before you knew, if it was not like your normal period it could be possible, like i said the female body is very strange.
