Hey guys, in my last couple posts i was worried about being pregnant. Well December 23rd i found out i was 10 weeks pregnant. I kinda freaked at first but now im happy and i cant wait to have my baby inlove . If you guys didnt already know im 15 years old and i DO plan on finishing highschool. But im just gonna ask you guys some questions and i need ANY ADVICE FROM ANY MOTHERS OR PREGNANT TEENS just anything will help right now. heres a couple pregnancy related questions i have

*how did you guys feel (what were your symptoms and such) in your 2nd & 3rd trimester.

*what is being in labor like?(dont tell me some horror story like "oh i felt like i was gonna die)my mom said labor hurts...but not enough to die so yeah...just want other peoples opinions.

*what does the first kicks of the baby feel like? im 18.5 weeks pregnant and i just keep feeling flutters...i felt something like almost a muscle spasm in my stomach today..it didnt hurt ...but im just not sure if it was the baby kicking or not.

*when you were pregnant did you get little itchy white dots on your stomach?

If i could get different opinions on these questions or just anything pregnancy related THAT WOULD BE GREAT and helpful.

I get to find out whether im having a son or daughter on February 26th...My boyfriend and I cant wait...

-thanks-
erin

well congratulations hun.

im 19 and have a 5 month old son, and i would be happy to answer your questions.

when i was pregnant i had really terrible morning sickness up until 3months of my pregnancy, that was no fun, but it went away and i enjoyed being pregnant.
i stayed in school while i was pregnant, and graduated high school.

other symptoms i had were, hmm morning sickness i already said, cravings for baby cereal lol, nausea, head aches, hot flashes like crazy thats all i can remember.

i was actually 4 days late to give birth to my son, usually with the first pregnancy you have like a 7% chance of delivering on your due date. But i actually didnt know i had gone into labour. My water never had that gush! when it broke, and some women dont have that either, it just trickled out, and i walked around my neighbourhood with my sister inlaw then finally went to the hospital after an hour of walking, and when i got to the hospital they told me to walk a little more and after walking a bit more i was 5cm dialated.
i didn't feel any pain, my boyfriend sister inlaw and mom were laughing at me because i was sleeping through contractions and eating jell-o Razz
but then the delivery doctor came in and noticed my water was not fully broken, and at 8cm they fully broke my water and THEN the pain came!
I got an epidual for the pain, and had to have assistance with my son being born, and he finally came out naturally.
i cried and was so relieved to have my son in my arms, he was just as i pictured!
i didnt experience much pain, but enough to make me cry, but i would do it again, not at the moment though.
Just think, if it hurt that bad why do some families have 3 or more kids.

I did have those itchy bumps on my tummy from my stretch marks, there called...uhh whats the name..PUPPP-pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, if you have that talk to your OB and she will perscribe a cream and it is supposed to help, i used it alittle but found that putting a really cold cloth on your tummy where the itching is helped more..try not to itch though! lol

i miss feeling my son kick, and going for check ups to hear his heart, our family doctor let me hear his heart beat at a check up for my son when he was born with that stethescope[sorry for spelling lol]
i miss that so much!

your lucky to have your boyfriend still supporting you through this, not many guys do. i was lucky too.
enjoy your pregnancy, and yay! you get to find out what your having!

if you have anymore questions im happy to help out! PM me anytime

*how did you guys feel (what were your symptoms and such) in your 2nd & 3rd trimester.
Just very very tired with a bit of a bad back.

*what is being in labor like?
This varies from person to person to be honest, i had a bad labour experience, the pain i could deal with but i had other complications.

*what does the first kicks of the baby feel like?
Flutters.Like when you catch a butterfly in your hands type thing.

*when you were pregnant did you get little itchy white dots on your stomach?
No i didnt i itched but no spots.

I was 15 when i was pregnant, 16 when i gave birth and i am now 17 (18 in june) with a 19month daughter called Mika

Hi! Im kyra, 18 with an almost 6 week old son ( tomorrow).
In my second and third trimester I was still up and about. I worked almost full time and really didnt have too much pain or anything. It was much better than the first trimester.

I had some complications in my labor but nothing that would constitute worrying about. I had oxygen and stuff, and yes it hurts but in the end when you hold your baby it will all be worth it. That thought will keep you going.

Baby kicks are like butterflys at first, and get stronger the longer you go.

I didnt get itchy or spots
