I had sex with my boyfriend and I have not been sexually active in years. I did not have anything for protection and I just had my menstrual cycle starting on the 3rd of Jan. Counting the days from the 1st day of cycle is 15. Do I need to be concerned? I have heard of the day after pill and would that work in this case if I need to try something? I don't want any more children at my age and I do have an appointment with an obgyn on feb 10 so I can discuss contraceptive and other medical changes going on with me.

Thank you,
TDAckerman
