Before I got pregnant, for the 2nd time, I would find that my vaginal mucus would mass produce around the time of my period and then it would be ok afterwards until my next cycle, well now that I am pregnant, there is twice as much as there used to be, it is yellow in color, and smells very potently like mucus, it is mostly thick in content, but in the mornings it is kinda runny like, so my question is.. is this normal, I never had any of this until after I had my first child, and the content of the moisture, is causing irritation, because my skin is sensative so it is irritating the surrounding areas, is there anything safe you can do during pregnancy to cut the mucus production down, without, harming the fetus or compromising the cervix?
