It's usually not a problem if its just one pill and not very often. You also followed directions correctly according to most birth controls-- this all assuiming you are not on the mini pill.

Next time though, when you know you got a little messed up with your pills don't have sex right afterwards without a back up method-- its way less stressful if you take a junk load of precautions even if they aren't particularly needed.
