I am 8 weeks pregnant and suffer from depression and anxiety. I have chosen not to take any medicine as I hope that I will feel better after week 12 when the hormones have balanced out a bit. I'm finding it very hard to deal with the physical sides of depression though and especially pain in my neck and upper back Has anyone experienced this and can offer med any advice. I know that the neck pain comes from me being very tense and pulling my shoulders up to my ears and I really try to think about it and relax but most of the time I don't even realise I'm doing it. Grateful for any advice. Thanks, Paula

Hi all,

I don't know exactly how much I can help you. But recently I have come across many articles which recommend fish oil to be taken during pregnancy. It helps you with your depression and also improves the coordination skills of your unborn child. Please consult a doctor to find out the dosage.
