my partner's period hasn't started and it worries me. we had sex on 1st of January, but before that moment of time, i had went to the bathroom and peed, and then had sex with her, but 1-3 minutes later, I put on a condom. I did not ejaculate before i put on the condom and after we finished. Her period was supposed to start a week ago, but it hasn't yet. Her period starts around the 10th to the 15th of each month. She has a irregular period with a 32-34 day cycle, maybe even a couple more days or so. She takes swim everyday and also is stressed about her classes, family, and the problem that i am typing about now, which may be the cause to the postponed period, but i still worry. Please help ASAP

Am I Pregnant Answer A9398
Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. The first and the foremost possibility is pregnancy and thus needs to be ruled out.

I sincerely suggest that you ask your girlfriend to do a urine for pregnancy test and if the test comes back negative, then it can be repeated after a few days.

If it still comes out as negative, then other causes of the delayed periods need to be looked into like stress or hormonal changes. For that please consult a gynecologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For an exact diagnosis, you are advised to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
