ok so i had an abortion when i was 17 and am now 21 and me and my fiance have been talking and we would both like children, my question is can your doctor do anythin before you start trying to tell me if i can have children, i remember being in a great deal of pain at the abortion clinic and them rushing me in to get it done before the person that was scheduled, but afterwards the doctors said it went fine and there were no complications, but i sorta just want to set my mind at ease, we arent tryin yet but plan to.

You can ask your doctor for a fertility test, just to check how fertile you are however I really don't think this is nessicary, you have had an abortion once wich indicates you have no problem getting pregnant, you are young and as long as you don't smoke drink have a generally healthy life style , you shouldn't have problems, before you try for a baby take some folic acid as this would help too
