although prenatal is great... your baby wont be unhealthy just because you havent seen a doctor yet. even 50 years ago, they didnt have prenatal care like they do today and most women had successful pregnancies. when i was pregnant with my son i didnt see a doctor until i was 6 or 7 months along. he is now 7 and a half years old and has only been to the doctor 2 times in his life, and both of those times were just for rashes. just make sure youre taking care of yourself! because if you take care of yourself, youre taking care of your baby.

if you are in the process of getting a medical card you can go to the doctor awhile. most medicaid providers will cover your expenses for 60-90 days prior to your enrollment. you just have to submit the doctor bills to the insurance company.

no doctor or hospital can turn you away because of your inability to pay them. so, if it would make you feel more comfortable, go to a hospital and they can check you out =) they wont say no to you because you dont have insurance.
