I don't know where you found your information on line that Pregabalin should only be taken if a patient has diabetic nerve pain or Shingles nerve pain.
A simple google search with the name Pregabalin brings up a huge list of sites to check that give you the accurate information about the drug and it's uses. All say that it is used for neuropathy of all kinds including caused by spinal issues.
