Q: Preconception preparation

My boyfriend and I are planning on *possibly* trying to conceive around August or so. My question is, besides taking prenatal vitamins and cutting out all junk from my daily diet, what else should I be doing ahead of time to help make it easier when we do start TTC? We're not gonna try until he fall, so there isn't much sense in charting or anything right now. Just wondering if there is something else I can do, or if I already am and the rest comes later?

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Exercise in moderation, have him take vitamins as well and make sure you're both in good health.
