I'm looking to apply for health insurance, whether it be short term or long term in California. I haven't had insurance for over a year and in that time I developed a few problems. The only time I've ever been diagnosed with anything is strep throat when I was like 11 (i'm 23 now). I saw a doc a couple weeks ago at a MinuteClinic (inside CVS) to check if I had a sinus infection now I'm wondering:

how will it look when I apply? will the insurance company see that I visited a minuteclinic and was prescribed nasonex? will they ask me if I've ever got treated for something in the past 3 years? whats my best option here? I don't mind too much about prices but am just wondering what my chances are in getting accepted. also what would happen if say I got health insurance, and went immediately to see a specialist saying this and that is wrong with me and got treatment?
