Kegel exercises involve the muscles that stretch from the pubic bone to the tailbone. These muscles are the same that are used to stop the urine while urinating. The exercises are performed when the muscles are contracted for five seconds and then released for the next five seconds. Ten Kegel repetitions should be done thrice a day.
