My companies ins. premiums skyrocketed. We now have a choice between 2 plans...and I am having the most difficult time trying to figure out which one is best for me.

Plan #1: PPO with $2500.00 ind. deductible w/$30 co-pays and $2000.00 co-insurance. The plan pays for 80% AFTER deductible. 15/30/50 Drug Fee.

Plan #2: PPO w/HSA~ $2500.00 deductible. The plan pays 100% after deductible is met. No co-pay. No drug card (drugs are covered 100% after deductible is met). Plus I contribute to an HSA which I can use to pay for medical expenses AND my employer will match up to $1200.00 a year.

Plan #2 seems like the way to go. But I am leary. I have a prescrip drug that has NO generic and it is a maintenance drug. I have to take it. But the cost of goes towards the deductible. Basically, it seems that with Plan #2 that the most I would pay is $2500.00 for the year but with Plan #1 I oculd pay in the upwards of $4500.00 in a calendar year PLUS prescrips and co-pays.

Should I go with Plan #2???
