Hello, well im kind of in the same situation at the minute but what i can advise you is ditch the pullups i found he just thought it was a nappy now i use undies unless im going out for more than an hour then i use a pullup and take him to the toilet whereever i find one avaliable my son will now try for a number 1 or 2 whenever i take him to the potty every time i take him he will do something, hes even gone on his own a couple of times but both times ive been in the bath room with him.i also rewarded him with alot of praise and a small sweet every time he was sucessful until he was sucessful every time i took him that was his daddy's idea and a good one too!The problem im having is he wont go on his own! and if i say do you need a wee wee he will say yes so i say go get on the potty then and he will run in the other direction! lol i have to take his hand and take him there and then he will go.The second thing is i see him marching and dancing on the spot trying to hold it in so he does know he needs it but doesnt want to stop playing to go potty he will go off playing and just do a number 1 or 2 in his undies then just take them off and bring them to me so he knows its not nice to keep the clothes on im lost i dont know what to do its been about 2 and a half months now and although im pleased he will go when i take him i just dont know how to get him to take that final step any advise would be great but i hope ive helped you some too Smile

This is kind of silly but it does work with some kids. You get some cheerios, and when he/she has to go, throw a few in the potty, and tell him/her to try and see if they can "hit" them. They kind of get a kick out of it and are proud when they do, then they just flush down or the toilet. Once they get used to going on the potty, just stop. Don't know if it works for everyone's kid, but I have seen it be successful for some of the stubborn ones! Good luck!
