Q: POTS treatment

I was recently diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). I have been put on a low dose beta blocker for treatment. Does anyone else have this? If so, what have you done for treatment? I'm wondering if a beta blocker is absolutely necessary or if I can increase water and salt intake and do the orthostatic exercises. Thanks in advance!
