I had my thyroid removed in late oct of 2008. after that the area and below and above hurts. I tried to explain the pain last month but did not get any where. I just finanly explained it to him again and now he understands. I also told him about 15 years ago I was told I had Bells Palsy and the pain was sooo bad, he said it was not bells palsy but some other type of Herpes thing. so now My ENT surgeron gave me a script for neurontin to take. I don't understand I had no rash as described in all I have read could I really have had a form of herpes and now having this type of pain around the scar be relaited?
