Q: Post-Varicocele Embolization

I had the procedure two and a half days ago, yet I noticed that my left testicle still has a grade II varicocele when I stand up... I also have minor back pain.

The doctor didn't tell me how long it takes for the veins to go down after the varicocele embolization procedure... Does anybody know?

Is it a bad sign that the swollen veins are still there on standing, or does it take more time for them to go away? If so.. how long?

Thanks for any help on this topic. I've been searching the net for hours.

There is 24-48 recovery period after a varicocele embolization. I'd suggest that you call your radiologist to report the symptoms and ask if the post-procedure effects are normal or if you need to be seen.

after vericocele embolization

i just got a vericocele embolization done last wednesday (today is friday) and since two days ago im feeling slight pain in the testical and my waste is this normal?

Pain after varicocele embolization

I just got a varicocele embolization done 2 days back. I'm still experiencing the dull ache in my testicals. Normally how many days the pain goes off completely and the blood starts flowing through the new healthier veins.
