Q: post pardom period?

SO, I'm wondering about the first period after a baby.

When does it usually come? I breastfed, (but not exclusively, as she was supplemnted with formula.), but only for 4 weeks.

Would that have an effect on my period by MUCH?

Do you think those 4 weeks held off my ovulation??

Any opinions would be appreciated...

Sarah

Are you still breastfeeding Sarah? I still haven't got my period either and I only breastfeed Brina like once a day if even that now.

It is tough to say when you would begin to ovulate again. Breast feeding with supplementing is not going to hinder ovulation. In fact, only breast feeding only is a means of keeping ovulation at bay - if that even happens. It doesn't happen to everyone. It didn't happen to me! But my really good friend got pregnant as soon as she started introducing solids at 7-8 months. So as soon as her baby stopped nursing exclusively, she ovulated.

I hope you have not had unprotected sex!

ETA: Sorry about the breast feeding. I had hoped it would go better for you. The first 6 weeks are really draining but then it is a dream.

LOL! It is really scary when your period is erratic those first few months after having a baby... and your LATE. Even if nothing has happened, you automatically think, "OMG! I'm pregnant!"

The fear of pregnancy with a newborn is enough to make sex very unsexy!

You can say that again. Don't get me wrong. I want another chid, but not right after having a darn fourth degree tear with this one. When I told Brandon I was too scared to do it, he was like why. Men are so stupid.

I have had sex with Baron unprotected. Twice.

I know, how ignorant...right?

mreh...so my Dr told me not to start my b/c until my period comes...IF it comes.

We got some condoms AFTER the fact...

He never came IN me...but the 2nd time, I sat back down on it when it was COVERED in come.

On the bf'ing thing...I was sad to let go of it...but I'm not being as hard on myself this time as I was with Oni.
