Hello,

My 61 year old dad just had aortic valve replacement 4 days ago. History of stroke at age 29, though worked, played soccer. Since last summer we have recently come to find out he had CHF. He was in hospital 3 times in last 3 months for severe anemia and difficulty breathing.

He is STILL in CVICU. Agitated, completely confused, physically "abusive." He doesn't know who we are and demands that we leave.

I am greatly concerned of further brain damage from the heart/lung machine and effects of the lack oxygen.

His doctor's dismiss us. We want a new neurological work up from his epilepsy doc.

Please help,

Sincerely,
Heidi Meisenzahl
