Q: Post natal bleeding

Up until 8 and a half weeks after giving birth i was still bleeding. Is this normal?
I bled until 7 weeks then nothing for a day or two then really heavy bleeding and some clotting for another week and a half. Pains and cramping as well. Still have some pain and cramping now even though not bleeding.
Any advice?

double check with your doc but you can bleed like a stuffed pig for awhile after. your body is getting itself back to normal and everybody's body is different. espically if you did not attempt to breastfeed it could clean you out even more. regardless i would have it checked
