Hi, on the 04/07/09 i had to have a laparoscopic appendectomy, the problem is i had this operation 3 days ago and im in more pain now than what i was in after the operation, I was discharged from hospital yestrerday (06/07/09) and managed to open my bowles this morning(which i thought would relieve the pain?). I am finding it very difficult to walk and even stand up from a sitting position, is this normal? I am taking Dihydrocodine and paracetamol for the pain but it does not seem to be touching it - Is there anything else i can do to relieve the pain or just make myself more comftable? I am a healthy 28 year old woman.

Thanks

Laura

Laura,
Three months after my laproscopy from a ruptured appendix i was experiencing right leg pain . I kept thinking it would go away but it has been one year.I take pain meds and lyrica. i just had anerve block to see if that would take away the leg, foot, pelvis hip (all on right side) pain away? it has been one week and i feel worse . i was told to wait two weeks and i will see if there is any pain relief. also i can barely walk, and standing for short periods hurts as well. I hope we all find some answers here.? i will follow up with my story and what is happening soon . thanks for listening .. im so upset. ..
