I had a vaginal hysterectomy leaving my ovaries still intact on Jan 12,09 (weeks ago). They found I had adenomyosis. During the cauterization and removal of the uterus, they knicked the bladder and I had to have a catheder for a week following. I feel ok off and on but I am now at the time I would have normally had my monthly period. My right side has been aching and having stabbing pains for a week along with some upper stomach pain as well. I do not have a gallbladder and my gyno said that it's unlikely my appendix since the pain is sporadic and I have a low grade fever. In the past as a teen I had cysts rupture several times, but that has been a long while. The Dr. said he thinks it may be a nagging cyst but it's truly debilitating. I am trying to take Naproxen but that only dulls the pain and it irritates my stomach and esophogus. What do you think?

Stabbing pains
Hi. I also had adenomyosis and had my uterus removed abdominally 2 week ago. I too have stabbing pains on my right hand side and bladder problems. I can't feel when I need to urinate. I jut have so much pain from the pressure in my bladder and that's when I k ow I need to go to the toilet. There were no complications in the hospital like u had regarding my bladder, just a catheter for the first day which I guess is standard practice.
Are these pains normal?
Also how long before you can safely have a clitoral orgasm (instead of sex for now)?
