Had mesh hernia repair. Doc says the sharp pain in my groin area is inflammation where he put an anchor stitch at the pubic bone. Have to live with it for 6 weeks before he will consider it a problem.
Is this unusual? Why is there an anchor stitch there, is that always the case? What can he do after 6 weeks to alleviate this? What can I do in the interim?

doctors are more full of $#!* than lawyers to be perfectly honest, use google to search the real statistics of hernia repair rahter than listen to unfiltered BS from a snake oil selling barber, err doctor, 30% never stop having pain, but what do they care, that 30% already paid.
