I went to the Dr yesterday following the 3rd successive occassion of post coital bleeding, this is accompanied by a very offensive smelling discharge for the past week or so. My G.P gave me an internal examination and has ruled out cervical erosion which caused the same symptoms in the past. She took swabs but I have to wait til Wednesday for the results. I was told it could be a bacterial infection but she is also testing for chlamydia even though myself nor my husband of 13 yrs has been unfaithful. My greatest concern is that my husband has said he will end our marriage if it's chlamydia. I have tried to read up on it on the internet and some websites say it can be undetected for many years, is it possibe I could have been infected by a previous boyfriend and it is only a problem now, I could lose everything as my husband will ot belive I haven't cheated.
