Q: Post bladder operation leakage

Having suffered for 53 years with a very small bladder (could only hold 150ml fluid without needing to run to the toilet) my Urologist removed part of my Intestine and added it to my bladder increasing the capacity level. For a year my life was a dream (my bladder can hold up to 600ml easily) until February this year (2009) when I started leaking. Initially I leaked slightly and then not all the time. I would have days of total dryness and randomly days of pouring. Obviously I now wear a pad day and night.
The Urologists have conducted numerous tests including for infection and on two occasions, although I had no burning or pain, received confirmation from the lab indicating I was positive with infection. Since then the test have come back negative although the problem is worsening. I have been on antibiotics both regular and nightly ones.
The Urologists have no idea of what is causing the problem and feel the only solution is to fit me with an artificial bag bypassing my bladder. Please help - I am still young and really need to find an alternative solution.
For the last month my the my bladder is pouring non-stop.

bladder surgery problem
Ive had an ostomy in the past. Its not something i would suggest you do, unless there is no alternative. I was born without a bladder and had an ostomy till i was 11 when i had a continent diversion. now I catheterize through a hole in my stomach. maybe you shpuld see if that is something your doctor might suggest. If it has to do with the schincter muscle then it should definitely be something to consider. Lots of luck to you. I hope you find the answers your looking for.
